Intro
I serve adults with a wide range of challenges, including grief, loss, depression, anxiety, stress, chronic illnesses, end-of-life issues, caregiver fatigue, life transitions, relationship issues, and career challenges. One of my main specialties is pet loss grief support. I also have lots of experience working with people in Recovery from substance use disorders.
How would you describe your approach to care?
I am warm, interactive, person-centered, intuitive, and strengths-centered. I start with authenticity, cultural humility, sensitivity, compassion, and collaboration. My approach combines Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), person-centered therapy, mindfulness therapy, narrative therapy, positive psychology, and holistic, integrative techniques that explore the behavioral and lifestyle factors influencing overall well-being.
What should be expected in the first session?
During our first session, you may expect a comprehensive initial assessment where I learn all about you, and you get to know me and assess if I'm the therapist for you.
