Intro
My name is Keynia Hardley and I'm a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) with over 15 years of clinical experience. I have been married for 27 years, have six children and 2 grandchildren. I enjoy helping people work through challenges and gain improved perspective, whether it's something they've struggled with a long time or something that just came up. I've worked with a diverse population of clients dealing with everything from stress, depression, anger, fears, relationship issues, and many other concerns.
How would you describe your approach to care?
My clients typically tell me I have a way of helping them feel calm and supported. I enjoy creating a safe space for others to get away from the noise of life and find themselves, their voice, their choice, or whatever they need to get through the issues at hand. I tend to use a mixture of approaches that involve ongoing connection, listening, and exploring that can help make things feel less overwhelming.
What should be expected in the first session?
In our first and following sessions, you can expect to know that I am showing up because I genuinely care and want to support you. You can expect to feel that sense of being seen, heard, and understood: something we don't always feel when we share with others. You can expect to have a safe place you can come to work through your challenges and concerns. We'll also talk about how therapy works, what to expect moving forward, and begin identifying goals that feel meaningful to you.
