Intro

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) licensed in North Carolina, Virginia and Texas. Throughout my career, I have dedicated myself to helping individuals navigate life's challenges, explore their thoughts and feelings, and achieve meaningful growth. I possess a deep passion for empowering older adults. I am dedicated to helping them strive to be their best selves, continue growing, and discover a renewed sense of purpose. I have successfully addressed common concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship dynamics, and self-esteem issues. My ultimate goal is to foster increased compassion and confidence in my clients, helping them meet their unique goals, improve their quality of life, and feel genuinely empowered by the daily choices they make.

How would you describe your approach to care?

My approach is warm, collaborative, and personalized to each individual. I believe firmly in meeting people exactly where they are and moving entirely at their pace, building a trusting relationship where you feel safe to explore your thoughts and emotions openly. Through supportive conversations, we navigate life's transitions together, helping you gain clarity, confidence, and resilience as you navigate this stage of life with purpose. My goal is to create a space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes. Together, we'll work toward personal growth, emotional well-being, and a greater sense of fulfillment in your daily life.

What should be expected in the first session?

In our first session, we'll take the time to get to know each other and discuss what brought you to therapy. This is a relaxed, supportive conversation, and you can share as much or as little as you feel comfortable sharing initially. My priority from the very beginning is ensuring that you are heard, respected, and at ease as we start this journey together at your own pace. Together, we'll talk about how therapy works, what to expect moving forward, and focus on clearly expressing what it is you would like to gain from treatment so we can begin identifying goals that feel truly meaningful to you.
