Intro
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who has held a Master of Social Work degree since 2019 and has been providing therapy since 2023 to adults and older adults. I have experience supporting individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, relationship concerns, grief, and major life transitions. I particularly enjoy using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and have seen firsthand how this approach can help people create meaningful, lasting changes in their lives. I strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel comfortable being themselves and exploring the challenges they are facing. My goal is to help you better understand your thoughts, emotions, and patterns while building practical skills that support lasting change. I believe therapy is a collaborative process, and I am committed to helping you move toward greater confidence, resilience, and emotional well-being.
How would you describe your approach to care?
My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and tailored to your unique needs and goals. I draw from evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and strengths-based interventions to help you better understand yourself and develop effective coping strategies. I believe that every person has strengths they can build upon, and I work alongside you to identify practical tools that fit your life. Above all, I aim to create a safe, supportive space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered throughout your therapeutic journey.
What should be expected in the first session?
During our first session, we'll spend time getting to know one another and discussing what led you to seek therapy. I'll ask questions about your current concerns, personal history, strengths, and the goals you'd like to accomplish so I can gain a better understanding of your unique experiences. Together, we'll begin developing a treatment plan that reflects what is most important to you, while ensuring you have space to ask questions about the therapy process. My hope is that you leave our first meeting feeling heard, supported, and confident about the path we'll take together.
