Intro
I am a therapist licensed in Texas and Georgia, dedicated to supporting older adults as they navigate aging-related transitions, emotional challenges, health changes, and shifting roles. I strive to create a safe, compassionate space where each person feels respected, understood, and empowered. My work centers on honoring life experience, strengthening resilience, and helping clients maintain meaning, connection, and well-being through every stage of later life.
How would you describe your approach to care?
I believe healing begins with feeling truly seen and understood. My approach is warm, compassionate, and centered on building a trusting relationship where you can show up as your full self. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness-based tools, and Motivational Interviewing to help you tap into your strengths, work through life’s challenges, and cultivate emotional wellness that feels both meaningful and achievable.
What should be expected in the first session?
A first session focuses on building rapport and creating a foundation of trust. We’ll spend time getting to know each other, talking about what brings you in, and exploring what you hope to gain from therapy. I’ll ask questions to better understand your story, strengths, and concerns, and you’ll get a sense of my style and approach. Together, we’ll begin shaping goals and making sure the space feels comfortable, collaborative, and supportive for the work ahead.
