Intro

I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) and Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) with more than 26 years of experience helping adults navigate life's challenges and transitions. I earned my Master of Social Work degree from the University of South Carolina. As a wife, mother, and clinician, I understand that life's seasons can bring unexpected change, and I strive to create a warm, supportive space where adults feel heard, empowered, and equipped to move forward with confidence. Whether you're navigating anxiety, relationship changes, caregiving stress, grief, recovery, or simply feeling ready for a new chapter, I would be honored to walk alongside you.

How would you describe your approach to care?

I lean towards a compassionate, trauma-informed approach that integrates Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and principles of Internal Family Systems (IFS) to meet each client's unique needs.

What should be expected in the first session?

In our first session, I would love to get to know you and hear whatever you feel comfortable sharing, at your own pace. We'll talk about what you can expect moving forward, and we'll begin to formulate what goals you have and what you would like to take away from therapy. My priority is to help you feel comfortable and at ease.
