Intro
Hello and welcome! My name is Leah Noble. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 16 years of experience. I have a diverse background working with adults in both individual and family therapy. I have worked with clients to cope with various struggles such as anxiety, depression, family conflict, life transitions, trauma, grief, loss, and chronic health conditions. I am very excited to work with you on your journey to a healthy, fulfilled, and happy life.
How would you describe your approach to care?
I believe in an individualized and down-to-earth approach. I strive to provide a safe nonjudgmental environment for every individual I work with. I have had the privilege to see the resilience and positive change every person can achieve when given the support they deserve. I am truly honored to be a part of your process. I utilize a variety of modalities in the treatment process to achieve your desired goals. Your treatment process will be tailored to fit your individual needs. Approaches I typically use can consist of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), art therapy, music therapy, journaling, mindfulness, emotion regulation, and psycho-education.
What should be expected in the first session?
In our first session we would get to know each other and build rapport, safety and trust. We would have a discussion of personal history, explore current symptoms, stressors and goals. I will also establish client hopes and concerns. I will use assessments to gather information and begin to develop a treatment plan together. Goal formation will be developed and incorporated in the treatment plan. The most essential focus will be the creation of a strong bond between you and me.
