Leslie Hirsch
Intro
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 27 years of experience helping people navigate life's transitions and challenges in efforts to build more meaningful relationships with themselves and others. I aim to create a warm, safe, collaborative and non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings.
How would you describe your approach to care?
In therapy, we'll look at how past experiences and patterns may influence how you think, feel and relate in the present and how new awareness can begin the process of change and feeling more satisfied in your life. My approach is unique to you and tailored to your goals for treatment, which will be discussed collaboratively in the first few sessions.
What should be expected in the first session?
In your first session we will cover confidentiality and then talk about what is bringing you in to therapy at your own pace. I offer a space where you can feel heard and understood as we begin making sense of what you're experiencing and your goals for treatment. At the end of the first session, I will check in with you to talk about how you felt about our first session and to make sure you felt understood and heard.
