I did not arrive here by accident. Every experience in my life—the joys and challenges, the support of others, the hurts and heartaches, the prayers and blessings—has shaped me into who I am today. As a child, I was very shy. I often sat back and simply observed others. That shyness, though difficult at times, helped me grow into a thoughtful listener with deep empathy for others.
Throughout my life, I have witnessed both pain and healing. As a licensed therapist, my goal is to understand your hurt and walk alongside you, using evidence-based practices to support your healing journey. For those who desire it, I also integrate a faith-based perspective, drawing on Christian principles to provide additional guidance and comfort. You do not have to face your struggles in isolation. I would be honored to hear your unique story and work with you toward hope and restoration.
How would you describe your approach to care?
My goal is to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard, valued, and understood. I strive to listen fully, accept your words, and respond with understanding, trust, and confidence. These qualities encourage you to feel supported while making your own decisions and choices. Together, we can set goals and work toward personal growth, emotional well-being, and a greater sense of fulfillment in your daily life.
What should be expected in the first session?
During your consult, we will take time to talk about your needs and what brought you here. Together, we will set goals and begin to outline the steps toward support and growth. This is also a space to build trust and understanding, where your voice is valued. You will not have to navigate challenges alone—the consult is the first step toward creating a safe, supportive path forward.
