I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with more than 35 years of experience providing mental health services, currently practicing in Georgia. I provide individual, couples, and family counseling for anxiety, depression, mood disorders, PTSD, and relationship and adjustment issues. I support and encourage my patients to help them make and maintain long-lasting positive changes.
How would you describe your approach to care?
My approach is warm, welcoming, and personalized to each individual. You'll be entering a "no judgment zone." I believe in building a trusting relationship where you feel safe to share and explore your thoughts and emotions openly. Through supportive conversations, we navigate life's transitions together, helping you gain clarity, confidence, and resilience. My goal is to create a space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes. Together, we'll work toward personal growth, emotional well-being, and a greater sense of fulfillment in your daily life.
What should be expected in the first session?
In our first session, we'll take the time to get to know each other and discuss what brought you to therapy. This is a relaxed, supportive conversation and there's no pressure to share more than you're comfortable with. We'll also talk about how therapy works, what to expect moving forward, and begin identifying goals that feel meaningful to you. My priority is to ensure you feel heard, respected, and at ease as we start this journey together at your own pace.
