Michele Grippaldi
Intro
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor dedicated to providing evidence-based, patient-centered care to individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, and life stressors. I utilize approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing to help clients build insight, develop effective coping strategies, and achieve meaningful, measurable progress.
How would you describe your approach to care?
My approach is collaborative, structured, and goal-oriented. I work closely with clients to establish clear treatment goals, track progress over time, and create practical strategies that support lasting emotional and behavioral change. I strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel comfortable, understood, and empowered in their care.
What should be expected in the first session?
In our first session, we'll focus on getting to know you and understanding what brings you to therapy. I'll ask questions about your current concerns, background, and goals so we can begin to build a clear picture of your needs. We'll work together to identify what you'd like to get out of therapy and start developing a plan that feels realistic and meaningful to you. I may also introduce some initial strategies or tools you can begin using right away. My approach is collaborative and supportive—I strive to create a comfortable, nonjudgmental space where you can speak openly. You can expect a structured, goal-oriented session that helps set the foundation for meaningful progress moving forward.
