Michelle McClure
Intro
I’m Shelly McClure, a Licensed Clinical Therapist with over 15 years of experience. Throughout my career, I’ve been fortunate to support many older clients who have struggled with a variety of concerns. I have experience treating depression, anxiety, relationship issues, grief and loss, and trauma. I’m passionate about helping clients work toward their goals, feel mentally and physically healthier, and achieve the life they want and deserve.
How would you describe your approach to care?
My approach to care starts with listening. I want to make sure you feel comfortable sharing and that you feel heard. Together, we can identify the feelings and experiences you’re struggling with. From there, we’ll look at how you can use skills to manage and heal those struggles. Therapy with me will always put you and your needs first as we work together toward a healthier you.
What should be expected in the first session?
During our first session, I’ll introduce myself and answer any questions you might have. If you’re unfamiliar with therapy, I’ll explain what you can expect. I’ll listen as you share what brings you to therapy. Together, we’ll formulate a plan for healing.
