Intro
I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor with experience supporting adults through anxiety, depression, burnout, grief, relationship challenges, trauma, and major life transitions. I value creating a therapeutic space that feels genuine, compassionate, and judgment-free. My background includes both inpatient and outpatient mental health care, giving me experience working with a wide range of emotional and behavioral concerns. I'm especially passionate about helping clients feel seen, understood, and empowered as they move toward healing and personal growth.
How would you describe your approach to care?
My approach to care is warm, collaborative, and person-centered. I believe therapy should feel like a safe space where clients can be honest, explore challenges without judgment, and build practical tools for growth and healing. I integrate evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, solution-focused therapy, and trauma-informed care while tailoring treatment to each client's unique needs, values, and goals. I also value cultural sensitivity, authenticity, and helping clients develop deeper self-awareness, healthier boundaries, and emotional resilience.
What should be expected in the first session?
In the first session, clients can expect a supportive and relaxed environment where we begin getting to know each other. We'll discuss what brings you to therapy, explore current concerns, review relevant history, and identify goals for treatment. I also want to understand your strengths, coping patterns, and what has or hasn't been helpful in the past. My goal is for clients to leave the first session feeling heard, comfortable, and hopeful about the therapeutic process moving forward.
