I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in New Jersey with extensive experience working with older adults and their families. I am passionate about helping seniors navigate the emotional challenges that can accompany aging, including grief, loss, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and chronic health concerns. My approach is warm, compassionate, and person-centered, with a focus on helping each individual find meaning, build resilience, and improve their overall quality of life. I strive to create a supportive and trusting environment where seniors feel heard, valued, and empowered to achieve their personal goals.

My approach to care is compassionate, collaborative, and centered on the unique needs and experiences of each individual. I believe in creating a safe and supportive environment where seniors feel heard, respected, and understood. I utilize evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and supportive counseling techniques, to help clients manage life's challenges, build resilience, and improve their emotional well-being. I also recognize the importance of finding meaning, maintaining connections, and preserving dignity throughout the aging process.
What should be expected in the first session?
During the first session, patients can expect a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where we will begin getting to know one another and building a trusting therapeutic relationship. We will discuss your current concerns, personal history, and the goals you would like to achieve through counseling. I will take time to understand your unique experiences, strengths, and challenges so that we can develop a treatment plan tailored to your needs. Most importantly, the first session is an opportunity for you to feel heard, ask questions, and determine whether therapy feels like a good fit for you.
