Intro

I am someone who values curiosity, connection, and lifelong learning. My journey through careers in music, business, and psychotherapy has given me a deep appreciation for the many ways people grow and reinvent themselves. I enjoy meaningful conversations, creative expression, and spending time with family and friends. I believe that every stage of life offers opportunities for discovery and purpose. With a blend of practicality, empathy, and humor, I strive to bring authenticity, wisdom, and compassion to both my personal and professional relationships.

How would you describe your approach to care?

My approach to therapeutic care with older adults is grounded in respect, compassion, and collaboration. I recognize the unique challenges and opportunities that come with aging, including life transitions, grief, health concerns, caregiving, and questions of identity and purpose. Drawing on both professional training and life experience, I create a supportive space where clients feel heard and valued. Together, we build on existing strengths, foster resilience, and develop practical strategies that promote emotional well-being, meaning, and quality of life.

What should be expected in the first session?

In our first session, clients can expect a welcoming, supportive conversation focused on understanding their concerns, goals, and life experiences. We will discuss what brings them to therapy, explore relevant personal history, and identify what they hope to achieve through our work together. There is no pressure to share more than feels comfortable. The session is an opportunity to ask questions, build rapport, and begin developing a collaborative plan tailored to their needs, strengths, and circumstances.
