Intro
Hello, and welcome! I'm Rebecca, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker dedicated to creating a safe, supportive, and judgment-free space where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered. Life can bring unexpected challenges, transitions, and moments that leave us feeling overwhelmed. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, grief, trauma, relationship concerns, or simply feeling stuck, I believe you don't have to navigate it alone. My goal is to meet you where you are and work alongside you to help you gain insight, build resilience, and create meaningful, lasting change.
How would you describe your approach to care?
My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to your unique needs. I believe that every person has strengths, even when they may be difficult to recognize, and therapy can be a place to rediscover those strengths while developing practical tools for everyday life. As a social worker, I understand that our experiences are shaped by many aspects of our lives, including our relationships, culture, community, and environment. Together, we'll focus not only on healing but also on helping you move toward the life you want to live.
What should be expected in the first session?
In your first session, we'll spend time getting to know one another and talking about what brings you to therapy. I'll ask questions about your current concerns, background, and goals so I can better understand your needs, and you are welcome to share what feels comfortable. This session is also a chance for you to ask questions, learn more about my approach, and see if we feel like a good fit. My goal is for you to leave feeling supported, informed, and with a clearer sense of what therapy together may look like.
