Robin Hull
Intro
It is an honor to guide individuals working through the challenges and changes in life - all within a safe, comfortable, and non-judgmental environment. I am aware that it can be difficult to decide to seek support and important to find the right fit. I offer individual counseling for many issues, including depression, anxiety, self-esteem and self-worth issues, communication difficulties, coping with long-term health issues, grief, loss, stress management, major life transitions, unresolved trauma, childhood abuse, and family-of-origin issues.
How would you describe your approach to care?
I utilize an eclectic therapeutic approach to meet the client where they are. This includes providing a non-judgmental, warm, and collaborative environment that works towards building a trusting therapeutic relationship where you feel safe to explore your thoughts and emotions openly. It is my hope that together we can work towards navigating life's transitions in a space that you feel heard, understood, and empowered to make the growth you desire.
What should be expected in the first session?
During an initial session I enjoy getting to know the person coming to see me, understanding what brings them in and understanding their needs and goals as we begin to build rapport. This is a relaxed conversation that goes at your pace, discussing what you are comfortable with. We will also discuss how therapy works and what to expect going forward. It will be a priority to ensure we start this journey together at your pace while feeling heard and respected.
