Intro
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 25 years of experience helping adults and older adults navigate life's challenges. I have worked extensively with individuals facing depression, anxiety, grief, life transitions, chronic illness, caregiving stress, and adjustment to changes in health and independence. My goal is to provide a supportive, compassionate space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives.
How would you describe your approach to care?
My approach is warm, collaborative, and person-centered. I believe every individual has strengths that can be built upon, even during difficult times. I tailor treatment to each person's needs and often incorporate supportive therapy, cognitive behavioral techniques, problem-solving strategies, and psychoeducation. Together, we identify goals, develop practical coping skills, and work toward improving emotional well-being, resilience, and overall quality of life.
What should be expected in the first session?
During our first session, I will take time to get to know you and understand what brings you to therapy. We will discuss your current concerns, personal history, strengths, and goals for treatment. This is also an opportunity for you to ask questions and determine whether we are a good fit. My goal is to create a comfortable, nonjudgmental environment where you feel safe sharing your experiences and concerns.
