Intro
I'm a compassionate, strengths-based Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) dedicated to supporting individuals in navigating depression, anxiety, stress, relationship challenges, and life transitions with clarity and confidence.
How would you describe your approach to care?
I believe therapy works best when it feels safe, practical, and tailored to your unique needs. As a first-generation college graduate and Jamaican American, I understand the complex layers of identity, culture, and resilience that shape our lived experiences. I bring this awareness into my work, creating a space where clients feel seen and respected. I earned my degree from the University of Southern California, and I blend evidence-based practices with a warm, collaborative approach to help you build clarity, confidence, self-trust and meaningful change. We will work at a pace that feels right for you in a space where you can feel supported, understood, and empowered to grow.
What should be expected in the first session?
You can expect a calm, supportive first session focused on understanding your history, current concerns, and goals. I take a person-centered, culturally aware approach shaped by my experience as a first-generation Jamaican American therapist with master's degrees in social work and gerontology from USC. Together, we'll explore challenges such as anxiety, stress, health changes, or life transitions and begin building clarity, confidence, and meaningful change at a pace that feels comfortable.
