Intro
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over a decade of experience in various clinical settings, including Kings County Hospital and Mental Health clinics, where I worked extensively with populations facing trauma and significant life challenges. Through witnessing the resilience and perseverance of my clients, I developed a conviction in each person's capacity for healing, growth, and transformation. I earned my Master of Social Work and graduated with honors from the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College, where I trained in a diverse range of evidence-based practices. Outside of my clinical work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, cooking and baking, and staying physically active.
How would you describe your approach to care?
My therapeutic style is warm, empathic and holistic, healing mind, body and soul, fostering a safe space where clients are empowered to connect with their inner resources and build meaningful lives.
What should be expected in the first session?
Starting therapy can feel overwhelming. During our first few sessions, we will focus on developing a clear understanding of what you’re experiencing and what you’d like to achieve. Together, we will identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck and develop tools and coping skills to help you feel more grounded and regulated. Most importantly, you can expect a collaborative relationship where healing happens at your own pace.
