Intro
I have been in the counseling field for several years. I graduated with my Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) in 2017. My passion is helping others realize their strengths and learning to use those in their lives to manage their feelings. I love working with couples and families! I create a safe and warm environment in my practice with my clients. I believe calm and level-headed conversation is the key to providing good therapy.
How would you describe your approach to care?
I practice using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy mostly, but I have experience in multiple modalities. I really enjoy working with families and couples. I have a lot of experience working with individuals too. I have worked with many conditions and feel comfortable treating a lot of different conditions. I utilize a holistic approach to treating mental health.
What should be expected in the first session?
In our first session we will get to know each other, discuss what brings you to therapy, and discuss goals for therapy. I will ask some basic get to know you questions to make sure we are a good match.
