Hello, my name is Stephanie, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I am committed to providing compassionate, client-centered care in a supportive and nonjudgmental environment. I believe every person deserves to be heard, respected, and empowered as they work through life's challenges. I use an evidence-based, trauma-informed approach and tailor treatment to each client's unique needs. I recognize the impact of culture, relationships, and life experiences on mental health and strive to provide culturally responsive, inclusive care. My goal is to help clients build resilience, develop healthy coping skills, strengthen relationships, and create lasting, positive change while honoring their values and individual journey.
How would you describe your approach to care?
My approach to care is collaborative, compassionate, and strengths-based. I strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to explore their experiences. I believe each person is the expert on their own life, and I work alongside clients to identify meaningful goals and develop practical strategies for growth and healing.
What should be expected in the first session?
During the initial session, patients can expect a comprehensive assessment focused on understanding their concerns, history, and treatment goals. I will review any necessary intake paperwork, discuss confidentiality and practice policies, and gather relevant information regarding the patient's current symptoms, past experiences, and overall well-being. Patients will have the opportunity to ask questions, discuss their expectations for treatment, and collaborate with me to establish appropriate goals and develop an individualized treatment plan. The first session is designed to build rapport, assess the patient's needs, and determine the most effective course of care moving forward.
