Valerie Larkin
Intro
I am a licensed therapist dedicated to helping seniors, individuals with chronic conditions, and their families find peace in a world that can feel chaotic. With a decade of experience in hospice and palliative care, I bring a unique grief perspective to my work. I understand that grief is not only about death. It can also come from changes in identity, health, and the life you once envisioned. With a background in medical social work, I support clients at the intersection of physical health and emotional well-being.
How would you describe your approach to care?
I believe in a holistic approach that honors the whole person. Our work together will integrate physical, mental, and spiritual support to help you reconnect with yourself. Whether you are a caregiver needing permission to care for yourself, or someone facing a terminal diagnosis, my goal is to help you find meaning and dignity in every chapter of life.
What should be expected in the first session?
In your first session, we’ll focus on connection over paperwork. It’s a safe, unhurried space for you to share your story, and for us to explore how my holistic approach can best support your current season of life.
